Mrs. Eveline Gautreau, 80, wife of Cyrille Gautreau of College Bridge, died Tuesday at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton.

Évéline  GautreauBorn in Pré-d'en-Haut, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Annie (Bourgeois) Auffrey. She attended the Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut, and was a member of the Pré-d'en-Haut Golden Age Club.

Besides her husband, she is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Gérard Gautreau (Anita), Mrs. Roger Cormier (Jeannine) and Mrs. Francis Gautreau (Maria), all of Pré-d'en-Haut, Mrs. Robert Poirier (Célina) of St. Joseph, Mrs. Amédée LeBlanc (Gloria), with whom she resided, Mrs. Gilles Poney (Dorina) of Moncton and Mrs. Michel Saulnier (Eva) of Kitimat, B.C.; four sons, Léonce and Normand, both of Pré-d'en-Haut, Donald of Memramcook East and Roger of Memramcook West; a sister, Mrs. Lorraine Bulliner of Illinois; a brother, Laurie of Moncton; 36 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marie; a sister, Louise; and two brothers, Antoine and Philippe.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday at 7 p.m. at the Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
